Аннотация: 

The article considers approaches for assessing the dynamic interactions of freight and railway rolling stock. The authors propose methods for the production of wire fastening elements, based on the use of geometric representations about the features of their structure in constructing the desired element on the basis of computational schemes. The original geometric and structural parameters of the bracing wire are determined in the form of the number of turns, lay angles and pitches, etc. The paper demonstrates the effect of pretension on the strength properties of the bracing wire. It presents dependences of strength properties on the basic geometric parameters of the bracing wires. The authors have shown that the bracing wire as a fastening element, in contrast to classical concepts, can be considered in dynamic interactions as an elastic link, a link with the motion transformation, and as a generalized dynamic link with both the properties of the elastic element and the motion transformation device. Allowance for the effect of additional elastic-inertial bonds that are imposed while considering the basic computational schemes for the freight and rail car interaction seems expedient in view of the fact that an extra elastic-inertial coupling leads to the emergence of new effects in the considered oscillatory system that have not been previously taken into account. To determine the forces in the bracing wire elements, a method of direct measurements is proposed in order to monitor the freight safety, ensuring that it is reliably fastened on the railway rolling stock.
