Abstract:

The organization of operational work should meet the corporate interests of the railway transport system: increasing profitability, minimizing transportation costs, increasing the interest of structural units in improving financial and economic results, focusing on high-quality transport services to customers. Reducing costs didn’t lead to the expected effect, result in a decrease in the reliability of technical means and quality of transportation, may entail additional costs for the restoration of technical means and a decrease in profitability. The constant growth of freight traffic necessitates the increase in the capacity of railway lines and sections. One of the main transport enterprises of Eastern Siberia is the East-Siberian Railway. On the Bolshoi Lug - Slyudyanka railway section, the maximum value of ascents and descents is 18, the minimum radii of the curves in the plan are less than 300 meters, and therefore the movement in the mountain pass section is organized with pushing trains. For the calculated year 2023, the target indicators of the complex project of the polygon provide for the need to increase the capacity of the section under consideration up to 137 train pairs per day. The article analyzes the factors affecting the value of the indicators of the site and identifies "bottlenecks". A complex of organizational, technical and reconstructive measures is proposed. The value of one-time and current costs is determined, the economic effect of changes in the performance of structural units due to an increase in the volume of work was calculated, the payback period of each event is calculated.
